To contribute to our mission and strategic goals, presently there are five research and applications units associated with the ACIO: Center for Intellectual Property Management and Patent Strategy, Center for Healthcare Cloud and Technologies, Center for Mobile Technological Innovations and Financial Services, Center for High-tech Industry, and Center for IT Management. Each of centers has own unit goal, coverage, and responsibilities to engage industry researchers, thought leaders, and practice innovators, who have special organizational, business, government and other context reasons for developing new approaches to understanding how technologies and service innovations underlying the impact of changes diffuse to upgrade overall competitiveness. Moreover, the CIO school is to provide various workshops, speakers, curricula and training sessions to foster management literacy, capabilities, and communication that reduce the gap in IT expectation between the CIO and the CEO, and therefore improve the CEO-CIO relationship.
